You are doing a great job by listing yourself on a thread (listing yourself as "waiting for approval" elsewhere on this forum)

Also, please post your experiences as to what IIOs are telling about your cases. Your consolidated details on this thread can give a good idea as to what excuse is being offered by the IIOs.

Since your cases have already been delayed so much, it's not going to do much harm if you sit right on their head to extract out a more clear picture about pending July cases.

FYI, one IIO told me on 7/9 that my case (RD:8/9) will be picked up in 1-2 weeks but next IIO told me on 7/18 that nothing is known yet and file is waiting to be picked up.

July 01 case - I spoke to an officer today ..surprisingly only after a 8 minute wait.

ANS : My case is still to be assigned to an officer (Jul 5 01 RD)

IIO very nice and told me there are a lot of July cases waiting ..being picked up in batches of 50-100 by officers. He can not tell when it will be assigned but he said it is OK to call once every 30 days as it sometimes happens that notices are issued but not mailed / delivered.

I know this news is not good, but I hope it will reduce the anxiety for the next 30 days ..some relief eh !

I somehow dread calling the INS, but I guess calling once every 30 days is better than sulking every day. Last I called was June 10 or so.

i spoke to an IIO today for the first time. she said that they were sending out an RFE but she did not know what it was as they were in the process of typing it out.
 
These IIO's, I tell u..............

They never stop surprising us. Sometimes, their replies are so vague and sometimes they can go to being so specific as to know that a letter is being typed out..................!!!!!

BTW, I'm very happy that our July friends are keeping this thread alive by posting their IIO "anecdotes".

i don't know if i am crazy but i am happy that atleast the AVM
is updated to say 'RFE has been sent out on July 23'.

i am now waiting to find out what they require.
