Is this data updated correctly with number of pending cases vs approvals with USCIS database?

It is a reasonable estimation, correct to within about a calendar quarter for near term projections. Variance may be more for projections that are farther out, due to the effects of unknown factors such as withdrawals, EB3->EB2 upgrades etc. Calculation modeling is primarily based upon USCIS inventory and DOS VBs.

Also, generally the projection for a given Priority Date's month would indicate estimated approval date for PDs near that month's end, so filers with PDs near the beginning of May (for example) should look at estimated ADs for both April and May, and interpolate in the results to get a better estimate.

But still, these (or any other) Approval Date estimations are estimations nevertheless, and remain as much an art as a science... and therefore, should never be relied upon to make any important decisions!
