July -aug -sept tracker already there

Hi Guys ,

July -aug -sept tracker is already there .I dont have any problem if you guys want your own shop it is easy to keep it in top with 3 months ppl than one month ppl .Please join that tracker .

Best regards,

I-485 app mailed 7/16/03 - no receipt yet

Updated spreadsheet.
Glad to note I am not the only one who has not received the receipt. How about checks ? Have they been cashed by INS for your cases ?

Hi esrao

Mine was also mailed to Vermont (Concurrent the same as yours) on July 28th. My lawyer hasn't received any RD/ND.

Jay.

I have seen some discussions that also din not rcv any notices.

Did u submit personal cheks? If yes, see if they are encashed.

I am sure your application is in the system. Check the copies of the files applications for any mistake in address.

Good Luck

Guys...Please note that receipt date is not the date at which service center receives your application. Receipt date is the date it gives to indentify your application and is not the actually postal or courier receipt date. Please note currently Vermont center has a receipt(EAC for Vermont, LIN - for Nebraska....and so on) date of at least 15 days past the actual INS application date.

Please make a note of this

YOU SHOULD BE OK

va_lc_laborious:

iF CHECKS ARE ENCASHED THEN THERE ISNT ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT BECAUSE IF THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH YOUR APPLICATION THEY WOULD HAVE RETURNED IT. I THINK IT IS A MATTER OF TIME ONLY

Also for me, all but one check have been encashed. The one that is not encashed is for I-140 but I do have the receipt notice indicating the amount of the check. may be they just dropped it on the floor while taking it to the bank :D

So there is no consistency as everyone knows

receipt received

Updated spread sheet:

Also I was wondering if anybody throw some light on the processing time for I-485 alone.
In my case I-140 was already approved years ago. I am only applying for 485 and EAD.
Is I-485 processing any quicker if 140 is already approved - any cases to get an idea of the time taken these days ?
Also someone mentioned that even if you have EAD and you lose your job (say after 6 months of applying for your 485), do you still need to find another job in 30 days to keep your status valid ?

Thank you for your responses.

I think it takes the same time. Havent seen any case with I-140 approved filed alone getting processed faster.

If I-485 is pending, the rule is that your stay in US is legal and as you say your I-140 approved years ago...make sure you have similar job somewhere around your approval of I-485 incase they ask for some employment letter which is very likely in this case since I-140 approved long ago.

I rcvd both EA Card and AP documents (3 Copies).

EAD Approved on 8-20-03 Rcvd. 8-29
AP Approved 0n 8-22-03 Rcvd 8-26
