July 2003 EAD Tracker

No FP Call

My Application receipt date was Aug 1, 2003. Received some RFE's and then finally got the EAD sometime in Dec.

However, have not received any Figerprinting notice, etc. My lawyer tells me that they dont do this anymore and will call for FP only when I am close to getting the approval. Is this the case with everybody?

I must be one of the few people around waiting from July 2003. Still no news of EAD and AP. Will go on first week of May to get IEAD.

Got Interim EAD from Dover, Delaware

Hi all,

Finally I decided to get IEAD from Dover. Went to the place at 7:30 am . Stood in line and waited . only 4 people in the line. Much better than PHL office. Very little parkin space though. Office opens at 8:00 am and closes promptly at 1:00 pm

I was second in line . the lady was very nice( I really felt it was too good to be true) . I gave a copy of I-765 which was filled by the lawyer . Signed in front of her. Gave copies of I 485 and my DL to show I was a resident of Delaware . Took index print and 10 mins I got my I EAD for the rest of the year.

I just said thanks to her and said to her you are an angel and she said she knows ....
