Folks,

Our cases (Mine and my wife's) got approved last friday. It was a long journey and the whole process took 3 yrs and 3 months. I was with same company since start of the GC process.

After one week of receipt of my RFE, USCIS approved my case.

July'02 and all old filers have little patience, and I strongly believe, you all get approval very soon.

For me. Proof of Employment, Colored copy of Photo ID and an affidavit for the following:
If you were in any present or past membership in or affiliation with every political organization, association, fund, foundations party, club, society, or similar group in the US or any other place since your 16th birthday. Include any foreign military service in this part. Name of organization, location, dates of membership.

I guess, I and my lawyer missed out last part while filing 485, so had to send an affidavit on above.

For my wife. Proof of valid marriage relationship and colored copy of Photo ID

We sent them copy of Bank statement, car insurance, medical insurance, lease agreement and 2003 tax return , so all possible forms for proof.

Today morning we are done with passport stamping. It was an anti-climax after 3 years and 3 months ordeal. We are in office at 8.15 AM and by 8.45 we came out with stamping.

I TOOK ONLINE STATUS PRINTOUT FOR STAMPING (Location Memphis).I am yet to receive the approval letter from USCIS.

GM - Yes I am from Bhubaneswar.

This forum is just wonderfull. I'll keep visiting this site and am keeping ImmigrationForum NSC under my favorite site.
