Dear Friends:

After a long wait and two RFE's our cases were finally approved on Jan 12, 2005.
I am happy to see approvals in less than a year after filing I-485 recently although they are few and far in-between. Hopefully NSC will pick up the pace.

Congrats... Good to see a 2002 case get approved.
 
Sorry Wrangler for the delay in replying to your question.
First RFE was in July 2004 requesting things like Birth certificates and marriage certificate. After nearly two months of receiving the first RFE response a second RFE was issued asking for proof of continued employment in the area that served as the basis for NIW I-140 approval and a copy of the originally filed I-140 application.
