My case has been approved on July 23rd 2001. We received courtesy copy on July 28th 2001.
This morning we got our passport stamped.

Details:
PD May 99
ND July 12th 2000
AD July 23rd 2001
RFE employment letter, pay stub, W2 and tax returns for last 2 years. requested on june 2nd and responded on july 16th.

Could you please confirm that your reply of RFE was July 16? If is was July 16, then it takes only 7 days to approve
your case since you sent your reply (include the mail room delay). Even VSC received it on July 16, it is pretty fast.
I am asking because that somebody has been waiting for monthsl since they sent out reply.

My wife\'s I-485 is approved as of July 28..

I-140: April 12, 2000
I-485: Filed on May 4, 2000
RFE: June 18,2001
Responded: July 2, 2001
Approved: July 28, 2001

It has been a hectic and long struggle..

My lawyer told me he responded to RFE on July 16th. I checked AVM on July 19th, I was updated to "Documents received on July 18th blea blea...". I received the courtesy copy on July28th and got my PP stamped today.
