Hi there friends

My RD is July16
and FP was done on Mar 26
will this affect my Approval Date
any one in the same boat?????

Should not matter, I guess. There are people with FP done during Dec, 2001 and still waiting, while some with FP done in late-Feb 2002 are through. Good luck.

Concerned about EAD expiry

My only concern here is that my EAD is expiring in Sep 2002
so should i apply for a renewal or maybe my approval should be in before Sep 2002.

The best bet would be to apply for a EAD renewal because you want to continue working without a break; As far as I know, unlike H1-B where you can work merely based on a receipt notice, you need an EAD application (fresh or renewal) to be approved before you can use it. Another option would be to wait until a week or two before actual expiry and go to the local INS (I hope this situation should never come). You need to weigh the options based on risk/ VSC\'s processing speed/ who is paying for the renewal etc. Hope I have not confused you more - just my 0.02. Good luck.
