Hi,

If you happen to receive a letter from USCIS from 1-Jul-10 to 30-Sep-2010, please post the following details.

When did you receive a letter ? (1-Jul-10 etc)
Did you receive a GC card (Yes / No) ?
What is your priority date (e.g Mar-2005 or Apr-2005 etc) ?
Did USCIS ask you to do finger printing ?
Any other addional info.....

Friend approved

A Friend who Prority date became current on 1st July EB2 - India; got approved immediately on 1st July.

He had gone for finger printing for his EAD renewal on 1st July. That could have triggered the opening of his file and immediate approval
 
A friend who's PD {EB2 INDIA} is going to be current in July 2010 got a fingerprinting notice in the mail on July 1, 2010
 
got a status update on my case status

I got an email today 7/02/2010 mentioning about the status.it said "Current Status: Card production ordered." so i am thinking it is for GC .
My pd is aug 2005 eb2 texas SRC.

I am waiting for my wife's I-485 approval. My priority date is August 30, 2005 and her case was filed with TSC on July 02, 2007. Almost like your case and hoping to hear from TSC soon.

I-140 Approval: 28 June 2006
EAD approval: 06 Nov 2007, 07 July 2010
AP approval: 21 Feb 2008, 05 July 2010
RFE: 02/20/2009 (regarding salary confirmation, job duties confirmation) RFE reached INS: 03/05/2009
Fingerprinting: 04 March 2008
I-485 approval: 09 July 2010.

my PD was 28 Sep 2005. Last week got emails saying "card production ordered" , "welcome letter sent". Now waiting for that to appear in mail...

EB2, INDIA, I-140/I-485 filed on 28 Sep 2005.

just curios....How come your PD date (28-Sep-2005) and I-140/I-485 filed (on 28 Sep 2005) date are same. My understanding is that First you have to get the approval of the labor certification (i.e your filing date was 28-sep-05) and approval should be after this date.......

I got the unexpected USCIS mail that my 485 application was approved and card production was ordered for both me and my wife.
My PD is Sept 2005.
The strange part is that my I140 was approved before but we had refiled the I140 application (something changed in the profile) and that is still pending..
Is there a chance that they will look at the I140 again? I hope not, hoping that THIS IS IT..

If something changed in the work profile, you will need start over with labor. Assuming it was something minor.

well, if you have read posts about USCIS asking people to return their GC's due to incorrect approval, you will realize there is nothing -ve about this, just being cautious.
 
I received the "Card production ordered" email yesterday. Now waiting for the actual mail. Looks like all current cases are being approved rightaway! Good luck everyone. For me it was a 5 year wait.
 
I got my cards on FRI Jul 16th. 5 years to reach the end of the tunnel. Good luck to everybody else who are still in the process.
 
GC for wife

My GC was approved on July 16, 2010 (EB-2, NIW, priority date: Sept 2005, Nebraska Service Center). But my wife's application is still pending. Anyone in the same boat, and have idea how long will it take for her approval? (we filed our I-485 together)
