ask me what it feels like being screwed by the system twice!
first time the organization we used to come here screwed my wife for extension of her visa so she overstayed.
now, we were waiting for our master hearing on may 25th so I called immigration court to confirm date and time and she had no time set anymore! it turns out that IJ ordered her removal on feb 18th! I had my court date changed and they sent me notice in mail, but she never received anything!
has anyone been in similar situation? it's sunday and I can't reach my lawyer so I'm looking for some help here. should she show up in court on her originally scheduled date and is she facing the risk of arrest?
