Hello Friends,

Now it's my turn to say that "My I-485" is approved. I just received the mail from uscis. It is really a great news for me in this retrogession time.

Here are I have couple of questions:

1) Can I go for GC (Visa) stamp to local USCIS office, or I have to wait for notice from them.

2) What are the documents needed for stamping.

I eagerly waiting for your reply, please include some links if there is some info available in this forum.

Thanks you all for your help. I will keep visiting this forum...It has been very helpfull for me and I will still contribute my help in future.

If you did code 3 FP, cards will come to your house & stamping may not be required. As I understand you need the notice to go for stamping via infopass appointment (if stated in the approval notice).
Since I did code 1 FP, my approval notice asked me to go for FP code 2 and no stamping was done. I am waiting for the card now.

Good luck & congrats :)

Code3:

All finger prints
Seperate Thumb Print
Photo
Singnature

I gave all these, as per forum, do I directly get cards with out going to local USCIS or with out infopass..

your opinion please....

Just wait for approval notice which tells what to do next.

After I-485, are these true?

my I-485 has been approved.

Do I need to inform my employer to update I-9 (Tax estimate) form, how much important is this?

People say stay with company for at least 6 months, how much it is true?

Is it OK to goto ASC for Passport stamping though USCIS says "don't take any action" in the approval notice ?
