i have been continually living in the us for 10 years. i married my husband and got the temporary green card. this month we will file i751 to remove the condition. but since it will take about one year before we can get appoved. i decide to apply for my citizenship in the same time in order to expedite the process of i751 application.(i have been married for almost 3 years)
however, in these a couple years, our joint annual income only about $10,000.
my question is, would this low income affect our application?

thanks!

Low income shouldn't affect the citizenship (as long as no other issues, taxes are filed in time (IRS), and you should meet all the citizenship criteria)

There's no income requirement for naturalization. Also, the earliest you can apply is up to 90 days before your 3rd year anniversary as a legal resident married to a US citizen.

You can't apply for them at the same time. I-751 must be filed in the 90-day window before you've completed 2 years as a permanent resident, but for citizenship you cannot apply until you are within 90 days of completing 3 years as a permanent resident (and you must also have completed 3 years of being married to a US citizen).
