I figured I should ask you this first since you seem to poses a lot of knowledge about INS dilemmas. Did I mention that before?
My mother got/is getting her immigration through my sister (us citizen). She went through the entire process at her homeland (she is still there). You probably know how the process goes from filing the I-130 for her to going through the whole process. The embassy there gave her the sealed envelops for her to turn them in when she come her. Here is my question:
What would be the next process for us to do for her when she come her? What do we need to file next? Do we need to file I-485 and if so, why?
