I had a similar situation. The LC had a different
job title and the letter that I attached with 485 for
proof of employment had a different one. I was also
worried that I might get an RFE but my 485 got approved
last week. So I did not have any problem and no
RFE in my case. I had a different job title due
to promotion.
Guess it makes sense that one would get a promotion
during the course of your GC processing and it is
quite likely that your job code might change between LC
and 485. But some companies, like the one that I worked
before, the internal immigration Dept. has a policy that no
promotion will be given to people whose GC is underway. But
most companies do not care about that even though
it is expected that you should be in the same job code from
LC till your 485 gets processed.
Atleast I have not seen any RFE in this forum for title change.
Though I cannot say for sure what will happen, but I can only share my
experience.
