Hi Folks,
my sponsor has gotten me a job. The employer is asking how to write the job offer letter? Can anyone help? should he address to me and/or to the consular officer?
He ready to do it and get it notarized.

there are plenty of examples found on Google

Well, I like many others ended up in a specific forum like this seeking help from people in the same situation as ours because after going up and down Google.com we could not find what we need.

Somone is likely to have the information here and it could be posted. How about those people who have proper information post it to the forum (it could become a sticky post) with examples of documentation that is otehrwise not clear?

For instance a couple of job offer letters which were accepted by officers at CP would help a real lot.

Thanks!
JC

I think having a job offer is important to consul versus how it looks. Just make it professional. Maybe like

US Embassy in......
Consular....

Thanks ProudT,

What I mean to ask is basically if a job letter has to be just that a job letter or if there is need for some particular form to fill out, or some special requirement to be included with the job letter.

For instance I got a "pack" about a prospective job which includes information about it and the company, but it is the pack that is sent to just everyone who is interested or applied for the job. Not sure if this could work.

Thanks
JC

I believe the job offer letter the consulate accepts is the offer letter that you receive when the company actually offers you the job.
It is the letter specifically between you and the company that states:
- what the job title is
- start date for the job
- the salary and benefits
- contains a space for a signature in which you have to sign and return to the company saying that you have accepted the offer.

This is how a typical job offer letter is.It is not the generic letter sent about a prospective job. Hope this helps.

Yes, this is correct. My job offer letter had:
- Job title and description
- Salary

Has to be on their company letterhead paper too and addressed to you, not the embassy which was asked aove...
