job loss before filing N400

I am eligible for filing N400 in Sept 2009. I was laid off from my job this month and have applied for unemployment benefits. Will this affect my filing? Can I live off of my unemployment benefits until oath?

Unemployment will not have an effect on your filing. You can live off your unemployment benefits until they run out, whether it's before, during, or after the oath. Being employed is not a prerequisite for naturalization.
