Job Change with GC, wife application pending

I filled my GC via company in 2002, employed with them since 2000. I got mine in last year GC flood.
I am working at the client site for last 4 years and they are offering a job.
6 months have passed since I got my GC.
Since my wife's application is still pending, is It OK to change jobs?

Any thing I should be aware of before making this change?

I'm in the same situation.

I have been working for the GC employer for last 10 years. They sponsored my GC in 2004 and got approved in 07 and I'm still with them.

My GC approved in the same GC flood in July 07 and I filed my wife's 485 right after the approval as Follow to Join (FTJ).

Can I change the job now, I want to get better job with better pay. But, since my wife's 485 is still pending I'm not able to take any decision. I'm expecting an interview as my wife's case is FTJ, would it be a problem if they find that I have changed job and working for a new employer? Do they revoke both approved GC and my wife's pending 485?

Looks like this saga never ends.. started in 99, H1B Renewals..LC filing, 140 approval, FP stuff, EAD & AP, Pending 485, Name Check, Service Requests, I thought its all over when my GC is approved, he he.. now I realize I'm still in deadlock.

Guys please help.. any opinions/comments ?

Unless you're worried about losing your own card as a result of the job change, which I don't think has ever happened to anybody who worked for the sponsor for at least six months post-GC, there is no reason to worry about your spouse's card being jeopardized by a job change. As long as you still have your GC, your spouse will continue to be eligible to receive the green card at some point in the future (assuming no disqualifying reasons like crimes or serious diseases).

You were entitled to file in EB category for wife as dependent IF you were married before your GC was approved (I-485 adjudicated).

Curious why did you file FTJ? Was your wife outside of US once you obtained your GC....
 
Yes, she was outside when we applied, but came to US later on H1B...

Thanks Jackolantern, My health benefits have been taken out by employer recently and I hope I can show that as a reason for job change.
