Job change with EAD and pending I-140?

I-140 seems to have regressed. I believe it may take a year or two to get I-140 approved at NSC or TSC.

Assuming one, applies for 485 and gets the EAD, Can applicant and spouse change jobs 6 months after EAD with a pending I-140 ?

Please respond regarding what are the issues regarding this.

I don't recommend, but it is possible if I-140 is "approveable". What "approveable" means ? Read 5/12/05 Yates memo.
