Job change and TD status

Please consider this scenario:

Husband : working in US on a TN visa which is valid till Mar 2008.
Wife : Living in US on a TD status which is valid till Mar 2008.

Now the husband got another job and he is going to the border to get a new TN. Wife is not planning to accompany the husband.

My question is whether the wife can continue to stay in US till Mar 2008 with the existing TD status? Will her existing TD becomes void as soon as the husband gets a new TN?

This board is great. Really appreciate your valuable comments.
 
Her td is hinged on you having TN -- any TN. So she does not need a new TD until Mar 2008.
