Job change and H-1 extension

Hi,

My H-1B is expiring in July 2007. I plan to apply H-1B renewal in Jan 2007. I am also considering changing the job role from engineering to marketing in the same company and same business group.

Do you suggest i change the role first and then file for H-1B extension using marketing job description or is it better to get the extension first and then go ahead with the role change?

And, do you suggest premium processing for this purpose?

Well, I guess you can pick whichever you want.
You either amend LCA first and then file extension or file extension with new LCA.
