Job change after approval

I've read many threads on this issue. Murthy says 6-month is minimum; some lawyer saying >one year is safe. Old rule of two years was removed after AC-21 was born.
What the law says is that you must have the intention to work for sponsoring employer WHEN you GC is approved. Hence 6 month or one year is to show you didn't change intention at the time. However, it is very difficult to approve or disapprove wheater you changed your intention before GC approval or two weeks or two months after or even 6 months (academic job takes at least 6 months).
My take is that change if you have to. It's funny you can change before 485 is approved but not immediately after. I have a feeling funny situation like this will be changed in a couple of years. I totally agree to be aware of the risk, but I have been slavery of this whole thing long enough to know not to be paranoid about everything. Most effect solution: find a good lawyer when you have trouble.
