I need your opinion on job change (in 2 months) after 485 approval. Do you see any issue?
Thanks,

IMO, it is too early to see such posts. We will know in another 3-4 years if there are adverse issues when filing for citizenship due to changing employers soon after approval. Also, AC21 case did not exsist until few years ago.atlantabhopali said:However, we are yet to see a case on this board where someone had troubles.

this is provisoned by AC21 lawjpmbank said:You can change job as many times before I-485 approval and still be fine...
There is no direct law or directive by CIS to this effect. This makes each indvidual case open to interpretation by CIS officer at the time of citizenship application review. Then why it'll be an issue if you change after gc approval?
Yeah...right! You know better.. for others, this is from one of Murthy's atricles. Those six months stay are all crap...
If you have basic knowledge about immigration matters, you should know the burden of proof (that you did not commit fraud) is 100% on the beneficiary, no one says that your are safe leaving even after 6 months. It is upto the individual on how much risk he/she can take. 6 months is what many attorneys consider reasonable timeframe. But all this is 100% crap anyway for someone who has made up his mind to leave next day after getting approved regardless of consequence. Good luckjpmbank said:Armie,
Every case is different... and generalizing all of them and making as if 6 month post GC stay is compulsory (when there's nothing written about it)... 100% Crap...

jpmbank said:... All lawyers... please sapre mine (not affiliated to my GC sponsoring company). Per my lawyer, your emplyment history is not an issue during citizenship.
