Yes, usually it does change and the RFE goes to your lawyer.

Thank you everybody and a special thanks to immigrationportal.com and Rajeev for this site.
Got my passport stamped today . No hitches. Also my kids status changed today to card ordered. So I guess they get the card directly. I however checked with the USCIS lady who stamped my passport and upon checking she found that my kids cases were approved with mine, only online status and AVM showed otherwise.
God bless you all and I pray that everybody gets their approval soon.

Nope, they send a rejection letter now stating your EAD and AP have been rejected because your 485 is approved. So technically they have given a decision and you cannot claim for refund.
BTW, I got my plastic card too.

we have almost identical rd. septe 16, 2002 nd- sept 26 i did my early 2fp april 2004 and my last updated info was 6/14/2004 saying they receieved my fp result on may 6
