I know. This is crazy. How come it is still 1/1/98. I guess they reall yhave to clean up that old batch. Honestly, I feel bad for the people who have filed in 98 and are still waiting. I think they should go first.

The reason is 245 applications. They have held the 485 applications on majortiy and have therefore kicked the dates back, I dont think they have enough cases for 98-99 that they can process and be there for a long time....anyway..time will tell better

yes. my lawyer confirmed that they heard that 245\'s are slowing down AOS cases big-time.

That doesn\'t explain the recent approvals of 02/01 cases and RFE approvals that we have seen reported on this board recently - assuming that the membership of this board is a representative sample of all AOS applicants, we should see some other date on the JIT.

Personally, I think that the JIT report is an entertaining piece of fiction that even the INS does not know full details about!
