you may try faxing an enquiry to CSC if you have a considerably older ND than the JIT. this seems to work faster than calling an IIO (as per my observation) - and this also puts your enquiry in writing and the adjudicator of your case becomes answerable later if there is an intervention by a congressman etc on your behalf.

you may ask your lawyer to do this on your behalf.
