JFK POE Experience?

Hi,

Would like to know from anyone the Duration of Stays which have been given (specifically to someone like parents)...


My mom is coming to USA after 2 years..(she has come twice before)...wanted to know her chances for 6 months on I-94 (I understand its upto the POE officers discretion) so would like to get some info from people who have had parents travel into JFK POE and duration of stay awarded

6 months is the standard entry given to probably 95% of people entring on B-2 visas. However if an officer suspects the intentions of an entry applicant, a reduced I-94 may be issued. I know of someone who requested entry to attend an 8 day seminar. The officer issued an I-94 for the next 10 days only, with a notation of "No COS/EOS/AOS".
I hope your mother gets a full 6 months.
