Dear All:

Praise the Lord.

I checked my email yesterday and I see the long awaited email ,

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On November 9, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.


Same time, my spouse online status changed to , sending to National benefits center for further processing. I am not sure what it means. ( I will think about this starting next week, but appears that I have to hang around this thread for a while)

This forum has been very useful. I thank all of you who have helped me by giving valuable inputs and consoling each other.

I pray God for all the old timers to get this stage passed. It was very hard. Lately I have done nothing but praying finally God helped me to overcome this struggle.

Thanks to Rajiv for this wonderful forum. As I went thru lot of struggle , I feel like I dont have much thing to celebrate but a kind of freedom and relaxed feeling.

dont know when my Green will come, looks like only EB2 are getting approved now a days, I am EB3 not sure when my turn will come, Hope to see the Green Soon.

Wishes in the name of Jesus Christ. Just now recevied my LUD 10/13/2007 - Approval Notice sent.

God bless you all.
 
I have received my welcome notice email on Nov 11th but I have not received any card production ordered or approval emails. But I see LUDs on 12th and 13th.

Do I have to be concered about this? Is the online status update working in USCIS?

Does any one have experience getting card only and getting GC directly?

Hi JesusIsMyLord,

I checked my status by login USCIS site because at that time the e-mail was not working. First it says "Card Production Ordered" (on 06/11/2007) then next day the message updated as "Welcome new resident" (on 07/11/2007) and today I received mail from USCIS saying "Approval notice sent (on 11/13/2007).

Keep check the USCIS web site, may be the e-mail having some issues.
 
Thanks GC_Voyager for your quick response. Now I believe that before I checked my emails on sunday 11/11, I think the staus would have got updated to card production ordered sometime in Friday or saturday (but no emails) and when it changed to "welcome notice" on sunday.

Anyway, I am waiting for some snail mails by end of this week. I will keep you all updated.

Just now received a call from my wife saying we received our !!!!! Physical GREEN CARD. !!!!!
