We are filing our I-485 tomorrow. Last questions to go: My I-94 expires in JUne/ Though E-1 visa in 05/2004. What happens if I file tomorrow and case got lost or for any reason I do not get my RN before the expiration of my I-94? I\'ve been in legal status for almost 7 years now, following all the rules and I\'m afraid to screw all up now. On the other hand it will be really expensive for our family to leave and then come back (we are 5).

Duh

Take up two jobs - mailman and INS mail room clerk. You should have both ends covered. Alternatively be a spammer; one of the mails should survive.
