JAXEN/Anyone - H4 Stamping at Chennai

I am on H1B in the US.My wife and son(age3years)were in US along with me on H4.They went to India before their H4 expired.I have received the extensions of my H1B AND the H4 for my wife and son.

Their old H4 has already expired.

1.What is the procedure for getting their H4
stamped in India.
2.Do they need to reapply for a new H4 visa at
Chennai?
3.If I send their H4 approvals(which I have
received here in the US) and my new H1 to them,
can they just apply for their H4 stamping?
4.Do they need to pay any fee?If yes,do they need
to pay both the non-immigrant Application Fee
and the non-immigrant visa Issuance Fee?

I would appreciate all replies.

1. Procedure is same as the first H4 stamp. They can use the drop off box
2. Yes. Basically that is what they have to do
3. Yes
4. Yes. Both fees. Even if you get the visa revalidated thru St.Louis you have to pay the same fees.

What about stamping on H1 holders passport?

Dont the dependents have to submit H1 holders passport copy which again has to be stamped (if the stamping has expired)in order to get dependent visa?
