Jaxen/anybody travelled with AP -- routine question about travelling with AP

Can you tell me about the routine questions they ask while travelling with AP?
I was laid off b4 180 days and no longer working for my sponsoring company. Currently I am working for another company with an extended H1 visa.
Would there be any problem while entering with AP since I am no longer working for the sponsoring company?

All they will be interested will be whether your 485 is still pending and does it have any problems (Conditions that might be construed as out of status)
Your losing job with sponsoring employer will not be considered as out of status.
 
Jaxen --- aren\'t they are the person who would know better than me about any problem

or out of status situation?
Doesn\'t they check about any problems about the petition b4 isuing the AP?
If it is my burden to prove that I am not out of status, then what would I need to show them?
