Jan/Feb RFE Waiters or Approved after RFE- Response Plz

Old Timer getting same message too

My RFE was issued on 12/12/01 and RFE response was recvd. by INS on 01/09/02 per the AVM. I have been hearing about 350 days - 380 days thing on the AVM, since the 01/12/02 (the first time that I checked after sending my RFE response). So, I am not sure if there is any trend whatsoever at NSC.. it is pure luck and if you are not lucky.. it is pure frustration.

My case and my wife has been approved on 02/25 according to AVM

WAITING FOR APPROVAL...
When I check AVM, It says RFE is issued to me and they receieved it and it is in the process..when I check it for my wife , it still says the old message this case is pending. Is it normal?
And is it a bad news for me that my 2nd AP and EAD approvals came in three weeks soon after I replied the RFE..does it create any confusion or delays?

I guess you meant three days after you replied...

Hang in there, the EAD should not have any effect on your I-485 processing. Generally you should hear within a month after your send your response. I responded on 1/31/02 and AVM updated on 2/05. Some of them, who sent their response after me have got their approval. It just depends on which IIO has your case.

  Yes it is normal. I did hear samething when I got RFE and that means 99% your wife case is OK and as soon as INS approves yours and same day they will approve your wife case too. That is what happend for me.

Hope I clarified your concern. Let me know if you need more info.

Don\'t worry all RFE guys. RFE means your case is 99% ok and INS required additional documents for formality.

Received Approval Notice on 2/20/02
Passport stamped on 2/26/02 in chicago
Went to INS center in chicago at 7 A.M came out at 8 A.M
no questions asked

I am not giving my other details. It was really painful.
I went through 2 labors, 2 I-140 one for bachelors and masters.
But finally we have it.

Finally its my turn to say my "case has been approved" heard through AVM around 6:30PM this evening.

I485: EB3(regular),INDIA,PD:11/97,RD.04/22/2001,ND.05/22/2001,RFE.on 01/18/02 and replied by INS AVM on 02/27/02 for(2Photographs,Employment verification & Birth Certificate.

AD:03/14/02

I got the same (both me and my wife) and I am trying to find out what to send as affidavits.
I have my 10th grade certificate which specifies my DOB.

RFE for Birth Certificate

Hi Krishna,

Clarification for the last name of mine and parents. My school records does not show my last name or the parents. INS wants us prove the relation ship between me and parents with some kind of old documents. I have sumitted 3 different affidavits from the family relatives/friends who knows my parents about my birth with new dates.
Also I have submitted school certificate proving with my dad\'s last name is same as mine. I have also submitted a NAMAKARAN cermony certificate from my church/temple. Hope this will help you and good luck.
