Hey,

My two sisters who filed for their I-485s in January 2005 have been just approved. Wow!!!!! I was surprised. I actually did not believe it unitl I drove over and saw the paperworks.

May God continue to bless the USA and curse scums like Shamshon!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations.

This sort of explains why I applied in early January and already got two separate request for 1) medical and biographical forms and 2) Biometrics code 3.

My theory is that they are treating new cases differently. Otherwise, it is difficult to explain why those filed earlier are not seeing quick movements as those who recently filed.

Although personally I believe in the FIFO philosophy.

My Dear Sir,

You need to read legal documents carefully and completely before making conclusions. Please peruse the page that you referred to.

Iraqi were always included in the cap. The exception contained in that link was an extremely narrow one. It only applied to a small number of Kurds who were moved by the CIA in late 1996 from northern Iraq to Guam. The people fled Iraq after a CIA-agitated coup against Saddam Hussein failed. The processing of these people was concluded a few years ago. All other Iraqi nationals are/were treated like everybody else.

It is not weird replies. On the contrary it is a learning process. Before thanful explained clearly about the Iraqi process I was under the impression that all Iraqis were excempt from the cap. Each time there is an argument we learn new things. Do not discuarage people from expressing themselves. We are learning from one another. There has been many times that I posted what I thought was right and I was proved wrong. That is ok. It is part of the process.

As regards with the 2005 applicants who recieved their approvals, congratulations. That is good sign for all asylees in the fact that things are moving..................Good luck to all of us and God bless all of us............Keep the debate alive....
