Filed EAD/I-140/AP/485 for me and my wife on December 4th 2002 as per fedex parcle received at vermont service center mailing room. No checks cleared, receipts and approvals. Filed in EB2 Category after labour got approved in November 2002.
 
Filed I-140/EAD/AP/I-485 on 01/09/2003.

Mailing Date: 01/09/2003
Received Date: 01/10/2003 (FedEx Tracking)

Waiting to watch the fun!!!!

Thanks for opening this forum.

My MD: 01/13/2003.

Let me share here, what I know from lawyer as of now. Just an FYI. If anyone is looksing for this kinda info., it may help.

Today I asked my Lawyer about the expected notice date from INS.

According to him, currently it is taking around 4 to 6 weeks for INS to send the Notice confirmation back.

I also asked him about from what date the 6 months portability gets calculated. He said from the notice date.

Receipts Received today !!!

Filed I485/EAD/AP on 12/20/2002 and received the receipts today.

RD : 12/20/2002
ND : 1/21/2003

No Approvals yet for EAD/AP.

Mailed I-140/485/EAD/AP for my husband and myself on 01/08/2003. Still waiting for the receipt.

I also filed for 7th year H1B extension. Haven't heard back on that either.

Will keep everyone posted.

Thanks - Got Receipt Notices

Hi All :

Thanks for starting this thread and I hope it is helping the community! I filed my concurrent I-140/485/EAD/AP along with my wife's I-485/EAD/AP on January 8th, 2003. My lawyer informed me today that they have received receipt notices for all the above except my EAD as on Jan. 31st, 2003. My lawyer is confident that they will recieve the EAD receipt date by this week as we have filed all them together. Can anyone tell me which is the Notice Date and which is the Receipt Date?

January 8th - Sent All the Documents to INS
January 30th - INS websites says that INS received on Jan. 31st and they have mailed the receipt on that date.

Normally INS will have the RD as the day they received your applications(one otr two days after your MD). ND is the date you see online as.... so and so application has received on so and so date.

Call your lawyer and ask them to fax all the receipts. Receipts will have all the details. If your lawyer is not easily accessible, then the date you see online is your ND.

Hi Could any one clarify my Questions?

My lawyer sends the documents to INS January 28th, 2003. I have few questions about my case.
1. INS fees are changed from January 24th, 2003 but my lawyer didn’t know about it. Could any one suggest me is there any problem because of the INS fees, usually what they will do?
2. How long it will take to receive my receipt numbers
3. Last year my W2 shows 25k, because I am on bench some time and I went to India 6 weeks. In my Labor they put 53k.
 
could you tell us which INS fee is changed from Jan 24 ? Is it for 140, EAD, AP, FP, or what ? I am scared because I filed on Jan 24th.
 
Fee Change....

Fees for almost all catogeries changed on Jan 24th. You should not be worried if you paid the fee according to previous schedule. Fees actually went down and thus INS said they will issue a refund for anyone who sent the fee from old plan.
They also said that they will NOT reject cases with fee from old plan.

Finger Print Notice date: 2/21/2003
Finger print scheduled date: 3/27/2003
Finger Prints completed: 3/1/2003

However, on line status has not changed.

Hi,

I-140/485/765/131 for myself & my wife.

Got all EAC nos. When I check INS online case update, for say I140 it says following:

Applications were received on February 3, 2003 and notice was sent.

So is that RD or ND?

Please answer someone.
