Are there any who filed I-485 between Jan2001 and April 2001?
Are you FPed?


I remember in April 2001 all dates became current and there was sudden surge of I-485 filers in May 2001.

I remember very well. EB3 category became current in late June 2001 and not in April 2001. I think most of the cases were filed between June 2001 to August 2001.

I filed my I-485 application in July 2001. Did FP in December 2002. Haven't heard anything after that.
 
Vkalya, so your FP is now more than 15 months old.
is it true you have get FPed again or will these FP results work?

What does your lawyer says?
Mine says wait. I even wrote to TSC 2 months ago. No reply. Nothing.

Has anyone seen Jan 2001 to Mar 2001 filers? Looks like most of them got approved. Only because the PDs became current on April 2001, there has been flood of applications and that is why we all are stuck.
 
We are stuck because of :-->

1. Flood of Applications because the PD became current.
2. TSC had a contractor problem ( Contractor who handled the mail) ( I also heard there was a lawsuit between the TSC & The Contractor).
3. Then Sep 11 happened.


As the 999 day limit approaches it will be intresting to see how TSC handles the I485 cases.

TSC is already into 31 months or 930 days (based on 12/01/00 date). It won't take much time for TSC to catch up with 999 days. And then they will raise the bar to 365 x 4 =1460 days to test out patience.

The law talks about handing over GC in hardships. If waiting for GC for 6 years is not a hardship then what is hardship?
