Jan 2001 case APPROVED !!!!!

Here are my details:
RD : 01/14/01
ND : 01/23/01
Waited for my FP for a long time and finally got it done in Apr \'02. I checked the automatic message system on Friday and found that both mine and my wife\'s cases have been approved on the 15th of this month. I received the approval notices by mail yesterday.

Thanks a lot for all those maintaining this site and spl. thanks to all those who keep this site alive by posting useful info. Good luck to everyone.

Question for Rajesh Sivakumar

Congratulations on your approval. I have one question.

Did you know why your case pending? I mean what reasons IIO gave you. Did IIO said something like "case has been sent to make a connection with I140"?

Also did you receive any RFEs?

I was given "I140 connection" reason, hence I am asking.

No RFE

I only spoke to the IIO once when I had not recd. my fingerprinting notice even after 15 months of filing. I did not get a proper answer at that time. But I got my FP notice within 3 weeks after the call and subsequently was approved 4 weeks after the FP. Hope this info helps.
