Jan 02 Filers!!! Wake up. RD 01/23/02 Approved

The following is my friend/co-worker details.

I too have the same dates except for the Approval date :)

RD : 01.23.02
ND : 02.04.02
FP : 04.12.02

No RFE . EAC 02 102 ....

EAD recently extended and approved on 05.09.03

I-485 Approved on 05.20.03 and to his and our surprise he
got the approval notice by mail today and learned his approval.

Good luck to him

Now this makes me uneasy.... when it would be mine?

Wow! That's the news I was looking for.

Do you know if his case was EB1/EB2/EB3/AC21/NIW/RIR?

Could you please find these details out and post them?
 
That's great! Sometimes these EB1 guys get their cases expedited, I was afraid that your buddy was one of them, but now it looks as if January has really started!

I hope we will see at least two more January cases next week (yours and mine:D :D :D :D )!!!
 
One more question: Did he only learn his approval from the notice in the mail or was the online status check also updated?
 
after seeing the notice, we checked the status online and it was updated. Not sure when it was updated, but he was sure he checked after 05.20.03 and it had the same figer print mesg.

yes, there are only 2 approvals on 5/20/2003 of all 400 cases of i485s with ND EAC-02-102.5xxxx.

no offence meant by posting complete EAC, looks like they started processing Jan 2002

Looks in this case, everything fell in place...RD is Jan[Dec being processed], FP is 13months and near expiration, and I guess the real trigger would have been the 'timely' application of EAD Renewal....[Similar thing happened to few Sep/Oct filers last october]
