I am new to this forum and it seems this is the best place to get the answers about my situation. I am on J1 doing my fellowship in Pul/CC. Will complete on June 09. My wife is in Int med residency on J2 (working on EAD). She will finish in June 08. What should we do to arrange a job for her? Can she get an H1B before I get my waiver? Can she work on EAD till I finish my fellowship? If I get a waiver after June 2009, then she needs a waiver too? I know if I get H1b for waiver she won't be able to work on H4 but at that time can she apply for her own H1B without undegoing waiver for herself? I am sorry about asking so many questions but I really need help regarding this. Please reply at your earliest convenience.
