I have been in US for the last 4-1/2 yrs on H4. My husband is in his 7th yr of extension and labor is pending (EB3 PD 7/2001). I’m planning to join on J1 (I know its a dumb idea but i don't have much patience 
left).
Is there a way I can get a J1 waiver, based on the fact that I’ll have 1+ yr still remaining for H1, after the completion of residency?
Or
Is there any option/alternative whereby I can practice/stay in US after residency?
