j1 visa , aressted for teft , no bail pending INS review

silly question , a person that came here on J1 visa , didnt even stayed in the state that even had the contract for , moved to onother state and got arrested for petty teft ..... will this person be deported ??

thats a good question , from what i understand they on ICE Hold thats why theres no BAIL , i guess after the outcome of the court date , they will be delt with INS
I am only guessing after the trial , ICE will contact DA and decedie their faith but this is a wild guess ... i guess my question is if anyone heard of or was in a simillar case that got out
not sure how this works
