J1 (trainee category) waiver

I am a J-1 (of the trainee category ) holder in a company, with the J-1 program sponsored by AILF(american immigration law foundation). The DS-2019 form covers 12 months and expires in July. Now the company is applying an extension to the max duration (18 months for trainee J-1) for me. The company extend it once before to extend the during from 5 months to 12 months.
How difficult is it to get a waiver during the 6 months extension? What kind of statement for waiver reason is appropriate?

Btw, I contact universities and try to transfer the J-1 from AILF to the univertisy, however, unfortunately, AILF can't sponsor education,, teacher or researcher, and can't extend my training in university. So the extension in the company is the only way.
I was aware of this urgent situation only a few days ago!!!
I appreciate any advice from you.......

Basis is No objection.

Section 212(e).

"No objection" from home country would be used to apply for the waiver. To get the "no objection" letter would take 1-2 months.

no objection is the basis for your waiver.

what is the basis for your 212(e): US government financing, medical education, your own govt financing, skills list? It's indicated on your DS-2019.
