I had travelled to US on J1 Visa on May 29th 2003 and returned back to India
Sep 2003. I had been to US for Transition of Project.
I have left that company and joined another in bangalore. Now my current
employer wants me to travel on J1 visa. But I have two years Home Restriction Requirement under Section 212(e).
Can someone clarify me the following?
1. Do Software Professionals also come under two years home country residen
2. If so how do I go about applying for Waiver and the process involved.
3. Can I directly go for L1 visa after May 29th 2003 without the waiver.
I need to apply for L1 at the earliest, please suggest me some ways.
