J1 Physician : Immigrant Intent Issue

Hi
I'm a J1 physician, who would like to travel to India after
a 3 years. My husband is on H1(7th year), with Adjustment of
Status(to Immigrant) pending.

We both have to revalidate visas, with interviews now being mandated.

I'm not on my Husband's AOS/GC petition.

The problem is, I may be considered to have immigrant intent,
because my Husband has immigrant intent(allowed for H1's).
So I cannot travel to India, since the J1 visa may be rejected.

Is there a way for me to DEMONSTRATE NON-IMMIGRANT INTENT
in this case?

Any help/similar stories is appreciated.

Thanks

Try to revalidate your visa through DOS before leaving US. Alternatively, while in India, you can go to US Embassy first to get J-1 visa. Then, your husband will follow. Also, your husband can use advance parole for reentry, and thus will not even have to go to the embassy to get his H-1.

I believe they don't revalidate J1's
