Hi All -

My Fiance has completed J1 research training (not residency) and returned to her home country after nearly 2 years. Now we are going to get married and I am a US Citizen.

Can I sponsor her and she can join me in the US.
And will she be able to work as a physician and apply for match, etc. in US right away?

if she is a subject to home residency requirement ( also known as 212(e)), she cannot get an immigrant visa until she spends two years at home. If she is not subject to HRR, then you can apply for her immigrant visa right away.
