hi everyone!!
i'm a dv-2005 lottery winner!
I have some questions:
what's the minimum amount of money i must have with me in the US?
i don't have a place to live in US, and i must specify the adress where they will mail me the green card.
if i don't have a place to live, will i receive the green card?
 
1. look at the form I-864P to see how much money you have to show for one person or a proper family size. To show that you will not be getting help from the govt you have to show one of more of these: money in the bank, property appraisals, job offer, affidavit of support, stocks and bonds, etc.
2. You do not have to show the address at which you are planning to live. You HAVE to give the address for the GC to be sent to.. if you have friends or anybody you know in the U.S., you can talk to them and ask if your GC could be sent to them. They'll give it to you later. If you don't know the address now, the latest time you can give it - is upon arrival at the airport and going through the immigration procedure.
