I've a valid b1 visa, but my passport is expiring soon. Can I travel to US & come back b4 passport expires? Let me know. Thanks.

You can but your stay will be limited to the expiration of your passport or 6 months max, whichever is earlier date. If you plan to leave US before your passport expires, you are fine.

Bear in mind, if the passport is less than 6 months away from expiry, you may not be allowed by the airline to board the plane. It is a possible worst case scenario.

Some passports are considered valid 6 months beyond their expiration. I faced this situation personally and had a passport expiring in 4 weeks of my arrival in US. I had no problem boarding a plane to US or getting admitted into US (although my I-94 was dated to match expiration date on passport, I had to get a new passport and then get a new I-94).

The OP can also run into an incompetent hardnosed airline check-in staff. That is why I called it is a "possible worst case scenario.
