Heard this afternoon that the date moved at VSC and checked online and sure enough I saw the approval message. Quite happy. Here are the details:

RD Feb 14 2002
ND Mar 04 2002
1st FP May 2002
2nd FP Dec 2003
3rd FP Jan 07 2004
AD Mar 23 2004

Applied for 3rd on Jan 15 2004.

Yes...did FP 3 times

Who am I to question CIS/INS 's wisdom? They sent me 3 notices and I did it 3 times!!!
 
Stamping done at Philly

Went to the philly office at exactly 7.30 am. About 50 people ahead of me. Was inside at 7.40 am. Was given a token at 8am. Was called to the counter at 8.30 am. Officer asked for AP and I-94 and pictures. Was out with the stamp at abot 8.45am.

Some observations:

1) Saw a lot of kids in the waiting area.
2) If you take kids, make sure you have somebody to hold them when it is your turn to get the stamp. One lady ahead of me had to wait for her husband to come back and hold the baby so that she can sign and get the fingerprints done.
3) I took a bottle of water, but did not need it.
