Hello Folks,
I am ecstatic to tell you all that our (me and my wife) I-485 has been approved. Online case status says my case has been approved and the approval notice has been mailed today. Here are my details:

RD: 27 Sep 2001
State: VA
No RFE

I have been visiting this site for over four years for getting info on a variety of immigration matters. It all started when I applied for practical training (OPT). I have been a very frequent to visitor to this site in the last six months. Its been a very useful source of info and also entertaining at times.

fingerprints

Hi RC,
Congrats. I"m wondering when did you do your Fingerprints.
My RD is 7/18/2001 and I did the FP on 12/11/2001 and I'm
wondering if I have to take the FP again since it's been more than 1 year.
