It's friday and it was getting boring..so I called BCIS just to have fun. This guy asked me for my receipt date and did some calculation and said we are now taking 20 months to process these cases so if you don't hear by 31st Sept (he said that four times), call us back.

31st September!!!!

If you guys remember last month when I called, the lady kept insisting 19 months from 31st Jan 2002 was end of Oct 2003!!!

So, looks like you these guys were not burger flippers after all...they were sitting at the cash register!!!!
 
There are lot of other places/things you can have fun with.
Calling for fun can lead to delay in your approval.
Restrict yourself by calling once in a couple of months.
By the way its 24 months and not 19 months. FYI
 
Call on a day that does not exist.

Just for fun? That number is not supposed to be called for your fun! Now you understand why they told you to call them on a day that does not exist?
