IT Job Situation in other provinences(except ontario)

Can some one tell job situation in places like alberta and BC.
I heard from friends that virtually no IT jobs in ontario region.

You are right about Ontario.

The other thing is if You cant find a Job (In IT that is) in ON, then I dont think other provinces will have any. This is the most populated, most industrial area of Canada.

for non-it jobs(like in walmart...etc).
Do we need to buy any additional health insurance???

I dont know about Walmart.

For Mcdonalds kind of jobs, it is 7-8 $/hr.

Someone else posted here that he was doing an office help job and was getting $ 11/hr.

are you in canada?
 
One of my friend joined Security job during training period (2 months) he was being paid$ 10 $/hr now he is placed at Toronto Airport and being paid 14$/hr

My contract will end this week. I am thinking what should i do.
I Know no IT jobs(or very less it jobs) in canada.
Myself and my wife got canadian PR.
Is it better to look for job or start going to school in CANADA?????

Stay in windsor look for jobs in USA(my employer based in michigan).

Stay wherever you can get a Job.

Going to school and trying to better your qualifications is also a good idea, but you need finances and good temp jobs to survive.
