how come in the earth all the service centers are ahead of NSC....why CSC processing Oct, Nov, Dec, 2003 and NSC stucked in 2002???

Are they really working or trying at least??

I hate the idea of group of lazy farmers in NSC control our fate
 
I am with you I485sept03, NSC is really s****t. I don't think they are working on our cases. They just want to make more money while keep us waiting, otherwise they will lost their jobs once all back log has been cleaned up. :mad: :mad:
 
I have total different idea. CSC is a liar. My case is Mar-2002 case. My case did not get touched at all. I'm not alone. Many cases around Feb, Mar. 2002 did not get prcessed. I hope JIT in CSC is before Mar. 2002. At least, I know one day I will get processed when JIT moves to my time. Now, I'm hopeless. CSC could move thier JIT to 2008 next month.
 
No one knows where the biggest delay is. I believe one of the reasons is incompetency. Approvals are chaotic, RFEs are issued almost randomly, transfers to local are unpredictable, information systems are not widely used - they use actual physical files, stored in physical boxes... On top of it, communication to applicants is almost unavailable.
 
I contacted with Senator's office in my region, they called NSC, but was told they were still processing Feb 2002's case, I need to wait. They said name checking in D.C. need time, some applicant's name don't need extended checking, but some do need. If you see some case filed after your case has been approved, there must be some reason, but they didn't mention what kind of reason would be. I will send a fax inquire to FBI and check if my name checking is stucked over there. :mad: :mad:

I did a scan of some Aug '03 cases, and there were some approvals as of 9/27/03 ..maybe there is hope?

How long did it take the Senator's office to get back to you, and how long did it take CIS to get back to the Senator's office?

I have a feeling a lot of people are contacting senators/congressmen and they take long time to respond - I've heard 30-60 days.
 
Problems maybe in FBI, no fairness

I agree with you guys that there is no fairness in GC processing. What will take FBI for more than two years to do the name check for some cases? I am pretty sure for those of you behind the processing date are stuck in FBI name check. INS is working fine now.
When I first came here, I thought it is a fair country, now it does not likely.
Any way, let us write letters to sentors, congressmen and FBI hearders to give out our voice.
 
aonflux ... thanks for giving the hope for me but approving August 2003 when there is thousands of 2002 cases still waiting...what that tell you? where is the fairness in this process..i see it very ugly.

My is ND is 08/20/03 too. My LUD had changed several times
1) When FP had changed
2) WHen FP results were received on 06/15/04
3) Then a Couple of address changes

Then for some reason, I dont know, all my I485, I140, current I765, Old I765 dates chaged on 09/13/04.
My I140 was approved way back in April 02 and I am non-concurrent Case

Again, one time the LUD changed on 09/23/04 for my I485 and I765.
I do expect an RFE in my case, because my Birth Certifcate has wrong Last Name. I had sent a 20 yr old affadavit for this, I am not sure, if that is enough
Additionally, I moved from East Coast, to Central to West (the last one being a job change). The AC21 papers have been sent to the new lawyer. Might have gone to USCIS or will be going soon.

So lots of things going on with my case. Best of luck to you and thanks for providing the Macro and the run for 08/20/03 that shows 5 out of 53 are approved, most of them on 09/27/04.

I140 AD : -04/03/02
1st FP : 06/08/03
LUD changes : 07/03/03 (address), 08/30/03 (address), 09/13/04 (??), 09/23/04(??)

CSC is just moving the JIT date. Still there are lots of cases pending from March 2002 onwards. CSC JIT date is just well-cooked showup, like Enron accounting books- to impress bureaucrants in higher level and immigration law business community.
